TENNESSEE: "A 21-year-old Christian ministries major attending Union University has been charged with first-degree murder for the death of his fiancee Olivia Greenlee. Grenlee, 21, who was also a student at Union and music education major, was found dead in her car last Wednesday. After reviewing the evidence over the course of three days, police charged Charles Pittman with the murder of Grenlee. Pittman had proposed to her in May and the two planned to marry in August of this year. He also served as youth pastor of Providence Baptist Church."

TENNESSEE: "Jeff Eddie showed no emotion as he sat in a Colbert County district courtroom Tuesday morning... One child has come forward with allegations that Eddie committed sexual crimes against him. However authorities said they have talked with several children with similar allegations since the investigation began.... Eddie, 42, 706 Courtland Ave., Muscle Shoals, is charged with 31 counts of second-degree sodomy, three counts of sexual abuse of a child younger than 12 and two counts of possession of child pornography of children younger than 17 years of age. Eddie was children's pastor at Highland Park Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals from 1998 until his arrest."

TENNESSEE: "A former Shelbyville, Tenn., youth minister has admitted in a plea agreement to possessing 'violent' and 'sadistic' child pornography on his cellphone. Former North Fork Baptist Church youth minister Joseph Todd Neill, 37, agreed to plead guilty to a charge of possession of child pornography on Feb. 13. The plea agreement was filed Thursday. The child porn images were discovered when Shelbyville police began investigating charges that Neill had seduced and had sexual contact at least twice with a 17-year-old female church member.... One image was of a child under the age of 12. Seven images depicted violent child rape. One image depicted bondage and child rape. At least one child pictured was a known victim of molestation from age 5 until 9."

CALIFORNIA: "Investigators with the Ceres Police High Tech Crimes unit have arrested an Oakdale youth minister on child pornography charges. Tyler Bliss, 27, a youth minister at Bethel Church, which is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, was taken into custody Monday and was being booked at the Stanislaus County Jail.... Bliss has served in youth ministry at the church since 2009 and oversees junior high, high school and college programs while pursuing a preaching license with the Assemblies of God, the website said on a page that was removed Monday afternoon. 'Tyler has had the privilege of seeing hundreds of teenagers come to Christ throughout his ministry here at Bethel,' the website said."

TEXAS: "A former youth minister at a Baptist church in Texas, who admitted to exchanging sexually explicit text messages and photos with an underage girl from his church, has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison. Joshua Earls, 30... served as student pastor at Arapaho Road Baptist Church before resigning to follow a call into preaching and church planting in July 2012. Earls was arrested in April 2013 after the girl’s parents found inappropriate pictures on her cell phone. His younger brother, Jordan Earls, a former volunteer at Arapaho Road Baptist Church, also faces charges of indecency with a child and two counts of child sexual assault. He was arrested in South Carolina, where he served as a youth pastor at Northgate Baptist Church in Florence, S.C., where the brothers’ father is pastor."
