Hey, have you read the Stranger Election Control Board endorsement of King County Proposition 1? No? Well, wait—let's see if it's even relevant to you: Have you ever taken the bus in King County? Or do you ever drive on the roads in King County, or ride in vehicles that drive on roads? Do you know anyone who does? Okay then, it's for you. All you people from outside the region and/or people who can magically fly around, you're off the hook! Go do something else for a second. (Also: Teach me your secrets, bird-people!) Everyone else? Read the Proposition 1 endorsement. Then grab your ballot and VOTE YES—or, wait, grab your ballot and hold on for one paragraph...

Do you like to party? Do you like free parties at neat places with free music and smart attractive people who care about civic participation and public transportation? (Those are the hottest kinds!) Well, the Washington Bus is throwing a party for you, and it's next Wednesday, April 9, at Chop Suey. It's called Parliament, and it's the kind of rad party that we get to throw in a place with all-mail elections: a bring-your-ballot-and-vote party! Your ballots are in the mail now, speeding toward your door like Harry Potter's invitation to Hogwarts. When you get it, you know where to go?

WHERE? Chop Suey

WHEN? Wednesday, April 9th, doors at 7:30 p.m.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW? It's free, all-ages (bar with ID!). Tickets here!
