Brendan Kiley: "I'll also be seeing Satori Group's Returning to Albert Joseph. And, as long as I'm in the International District, I expect I’m going to search for some of Seattle’s finest noodles. Any suggestions?"

Paul Constant: "Tomorrow, I'm visiting three or four comics shops to celebrate Free Comic Book Day. On Sunday, I'm participating in a reading at Jack Straw New Media Gallery to celebrate and honor the life and work of excellent Seattle poet Kim-An Lieberman, who passed away earlier this year. All weekend long, I'll be stopping by the Cascadia Poetry Festival for various events."

Bethany Jean Clement: "I am going to the new Taylor Shellfish oyster bar on lower Queen Anne, and also to watch a bunch of screeners for SIFF (which makes me kind of glad that it's going to rain)."

Dave Segal: "I'm heading to Studio 66's 10th anniversary party at Lo-Fi on Saturday, featuring the Daemon Lovers and a load of great DJs, and then on Sunday afternoon DJing the Artache Market at Chop Suey. Later Sunday, I'll probably hit SH6RL6S6 and Logic Vortex's False Prophet night of minimal synth, coldwave, and industrial music at Kremwerk."

Jen Graves: "Tonight I’m going to a preview of the new private-collector-owned contemporary art space, Mad Art, opening soon in Amazonland. Tomorrow I’m going to Platform Gallery to hang out either with the visiting artist William Powhida or his foul-mouthed grouchy alter ego Powhida, whichever one shows up. Throughout, I’ll be thinking about all the bus lines I won’t be able to take soon."

Anna Minard: "Going to the Seattle Tilth Edible Plant Sale! Then going home to plant all of my new vegetables and herbs in the dirt and wish they would grow faster. And then I need to go get new glasses, because mine are held together by scotch tape. Does anyone know of a good place?"

Finally, me: I'm watching two films, Toussaint L’Ouverture and Mother of George, which close this year's The Langston Hughes African American Film Festival. The first film is a great drama with the momentum of a Hollywood blockbuster (I've seen half of it), and the second stars the beautiful Zimbabwean actress Danai Gurira, who kills zombies on the TV show The Walking Dead, and the most beautiful African actor in the history of cinema, Isaach De Bankolé.
