  • The Big Dig

It's getting close to that time again. You know, the highlight of Seattle-area record junkies' year—the Big Dig. Taking place Sat. May 10 at Vermillion Art Gallery and Bar, the Big Dig is run by the handsome DJs/music scholars who put on the DUG monthly at Lo-Fi. At this Big Dig, 20 dealers from the Northwest and beyond will be selling records of many genres and a bunch of savvy local selectors will be spinning vinyl all day in the back bar area. Ballers who want early entry at 1 pm pay $10; regular hours are 3 pm-7 pm, with a $3 cover. There's a bar, of course, but this event is all ages and family friendly. It's never too soon to indoctrinate the little ones into the world of analog sound and vinyl hoarding.
