(Chop Suey) Acid Mothers Temple’s cosmic, shamanic, lysergic rock has been turning sweaty clubs into pagan palaces of worship for some time now. Between the Japanese band’s relentless release schedule (their Discogs.com page alone is mind-boggling) and cult-like fan base, they may seem impenetrable to some outsiders, but don’t be scared away: Go raise your arms to the sky, roll your eyes into the back of your head, and take a much-needed brain vacation. Their particular brand of pulsing, deafening psych is why rock critics throw around words like "transporting." Opening are renowned noise-hounds MTNS, who are hard at work crafting a follow-up to their excellent debut All Songs Are Spells.
