The Onion just launched their new Upworthy/Buzzfeed parody site, Clickhole. Some of the articles on the new site include listicles ("7 Pricks Who Defied The Odds And Didn’t Go Into Finance"), viral videos ("This Video Seems Silly, But It Makes A Good Point"), "hard-hitting" articles content ("Want To Feel Old? The Movie ‘High Fidelity’ Would Be A Sexy 14-Year-Old By Now"), and quizzes ("If I Ordered Fries, Would You Have Any?").

I laughed at some of the articles—especially, for some reason, this one—but I have a hard time imagining how Clickhole will age. Those viral content sites have to be a trend, right? I mean, just because someone figured out that putting the words "mind-blowing" and "heart-melting" in a headline attracts millions of eyeballs doesn't mean that internet listicle culture will go on forever, right? Right?
