This Singapore record dealer R. Alagirisamy says he only sells records from his a shop, For The Record, to those folks who are properly deserving!! So, like Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi," this fella has earned the nickname, "the Vinyl Nazi." I love this guy!! However, being so proper, he'd also surely argue "vinyl" is an incorrect blanket term since NOT ALL records are made of vinyl.

He’s part of a fading breed of music store Nazis disappearing all over the world as brick-and-mortar establishments collapse under the weight of e-commerce and digital music. Each time he schools someone on music, each time he shares a secret, each time he rambles on about choosing the right album, it almost sounds like an apopemptic speech, something music lovers like us will come to miss.

If you're not familiar with how us record babes nerds behave, the entire feature is worth reading. It's a good cracked window into a record freak's habits and control issues! Oh, and Alagirisamy referencing the Jimi Hendrix connection to the Martha Velez LP, Fiends And Angels, has always been more or less known. A couple heavy guitar players were featured on the LP too, like Eric Clapton and Free's Paul Kosoff.
