This is going to be RAD! On Saturday, celebrate the first day of summer at LOVETUNNEL's "Future Unfolding"—a queer art showcase featuring films, installations, visual art, and a performance by Landon Longhill in celebration of the release of the new chapbook Pack Light, followed by a crazy/sexy/cool dance party where DJ Riff Raff (Shade) and DJ Jackson (Butch Queen) will be supplying the jams to get sweaty into the night.

Founder Melissa Woerner says, "I started LOVETUNNEL four years ago in my house in the Central District. I wanted to create a safe and positive environment for local queer amateur artists to show their work, make connections, and encourage each other. There has been everything from visual and installation art to dance, music, film and interactive performance. LOVETUNNEL has grown over the years and this will be the first time I'm doing it in an actual venue space." This year, the venue will be The Piranha Shop, a wheelchair accessible, all-ages warehouse space in SODO.

Expect the unexpected: video comics, queer-icatures, interactive healing, sculptures with more than a story. "Future Unfolding" requests you to get off the hill and into the crux of queer thought, performance, and alternative space.
