If so, the King County Medical Examiner would like a word with you...

The skulls were dropped off in June to the Bellevue Goodwill at 14515 NE 20th St. Employees at the thrift store realized the skulls were genuine human remains and contacted the Medical Examiner’s Office and police.

One skull is thought to be old and the remains of a Native American child. The other two skulls look like they were once used at "a medical clinic or for instruction purposes." If you are indeed the very one who once owned these skulls, please let yourself be known. The dead are of no interest to the dead. The dead cannot, as the Wailers once sang, bury their dead. The dead are there for just the living. Everything matters for everything; nothing matters for nothing. County Medical Examiner hopes to return the remains of the child to its tribe. This is the law of our living state.
