- You sit and read whatever you want to yourself while everyone else does the same.
Tomorrow's the first Wednesday of the month, which means it's time for the silent-reading party. If these words are foreign to you, here's what the silent-reading party is. Abridged version: You bring whatever you feel like reading and silently read to yourself on comfortably upholstered furniture while musicians play music and waiters bring you things. It's free and all ages. It happens in the Fireside Room at the Sorrento Hotel.
Tomorrow's drink special is a $5 sangria. The musicians will be Will Bielawski on harp from 6 pm to 7 pm, and Cameron Sharif on piano from 7 pm to 8 pm. This is Cameron's first time playing at the reading party—check out his SoundCloud right here.
As for what I'll be reading: The Patrick Melrose Novels by Edward St. Aubyn. Recommended. And you? What will you be reading?
