Ocean Greens will have its "soft opening" today at 4:20 on Aurora Ave N between 97th and 98th. That'll be Seattle's third retail marijuana store with more on the way soon—the Washington State Liquor Control Board website says another shop named Praxa, at 14242 15th Ave NE up by Northgate, had its license approved on the same day as Ocean Greens. And this week an outfit called Mello Times bought some property a few steps away from Uncle's Ike's on 23rd and Union. (Ike's opened on Tuesday.)

The WSLCB website lists the latest license applications and approvals by county.

For more cannabis statistics, see the WSLCB's "frequently requested lists" page, which includes a massive spreadsheet of all marijuana license applications across the state—producer, processor, and retailer—under the "marijuana license applicants" link.

It also lists updated sales activity:

That's $18,750,944 in sales so far with $4,687,736 in taxes on their way to the state piggy bank. The latest data from Colorado says the state had made $11 million in taxes as of July 31.
