GoldieBlox is the toy company that aims to "get girls building," with toys that move beyond instilling specious beauty standards and celebrating consumption by "giving young inventors the tools they need to build and create amazing things."

Megan Griffiths is the Seattle filmmaker and 2012 Stranger Film Genius who directed GoldieBlox's latest ad, a riff on Apple's "1984" ad, made with her frequent collaborator, Seattle-based film producer Lacey Leavitt. Enjoy.
