Name: Suzanne
Where: El Corazón
Buy Her A Shot Of: Water. “Right now I’m not drinking,” Suzanne says, “but if I start up again, I’ll probably do a very girly drink, like an Applesauce. I’m pretty wimpy.”
Ask Her To Make You A: Moby Dick. “I make everything because I’ve been doing this for about 11 years or so, but I do push for some of our [house] drinks because they are actually really good and simple to make. In a venue, it’s a matter of getting people in and out really quick because we’ve got about a 15-minute window, so we try to stay away from the muddled ones if we can. I really love the Moby Dick. It’s Sailor Jerry's, ginger beer, and Peychaud's bitters, garnished with a lime. It’s really simple, easy, and anything with ginger beer is going to be great.”
What She’s Doing When She’s Not At The Bar: “I got to to school for Computer Programming Database Administration, so I’m there in the mornings. I do this [manage the bar] in the afternoons and bartend at night. I snowboard. I ride my ‘69 Firebird as much as possible. And I go to metal shows.”
Words To Live By: “When you’re nose deep in shit, make sure to shut your mouth.”
