Roz Edison and Kamala Saxtonâthe women responsible for the Marination Mobile food truck, as well as Capitol Hillâs Marination Station, West Seattleâs Marination Ma Kai, and the recently opened Good Bar in Pioneer Squareâwill open a new restaurant in the heart of Columbia City this fall. The as-yet-unnamed restaurant will be housed in a former auto body shop just two blocks from eateries such as Columbia City Bakery, Tutta Bella, and Senegalese spot La Teranga. As at the other Marination restaurants, the menu will be Asian-Hawaiian-focused. It will serve morning coffee and snacks, lunch and dinner, as well as weekend brunch. (South Seattle residents are hoping it will include the kimchi fried rice bowl.)
