I wish I had a bat signal I could wheel out and illuminate whenever a play like Threesome comes along. Threesome is bat-signal good. I not only want the whole city to know how good it is, I want the clouds to know how good it is. I think people in airplanes flying by should know. Most theater is frankly bad, a few plays a year are good, and one or two plays a year are bat-signal good. Our Town at 12th Avenue Arts was bat-signal good. Little Shop of Horrors at ACT (produced with 5th Avenue Theatre) was bat-signal good. But those were not new plays. Those were smart productions of old plays.

Threesome is a brand-new play. It was written by a Seattle playwright. It has Seattle talent in it. It's on its way to New York after this production at ACT Theatre, and you will be able to say you saw it first when New York City starts freaking out about it.

To recap: Go here, click on BUY TICKETS, buy tickets, and go. I don't care if you've never gone to the theater before. I don't care if you have to get a babysitter. I don't care if you have to sell your dead cat on the street to go. GO. It's so good.
