KIRO:

Police are responding to a shooting in "The Jungle" homeless encampment near South Seattle. According to a KIRO 7 reporter at the scene, there are at least five victims. The shooter is still at large. Drivers are being told to avoid the area near Airport Way South just north of South Massachusetts Street. All lanes are closed on Airport Way South just south of I-90.

Gary Horcher is at the scene and live-tweeting the aftermath and police response.

The Seattle Times is reporting that two of the shooting victims have died and that there is more than one shooter on the loose: the attack "was carried out by multiple males." And there's this:

The shooting came as Mayor Ed Murray gave a televised speech in Seattle to defend what the city is doing to address pervasive homelessness.
