Why: Everybody’s got Nirvana on the brain lately. You know who else from Seattle is celebrating a 20-year anniversary? Ye olde Mudhoney, who continue to rock the fuck out and always deliver killer live shows. Both crotchety old grunge heads and wee baby teenagers will sing every word to “Touch Me I’m Sick”—a song that, along with the Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” belongs on the top-five list of best punk anthems of all time, and it sounds as gnarly and awesome today as it did then. Sharing the bill: Hot Bodies in Motion, Thee Emergency, and Lovesick Empire. (Neumos, 925 E Pike St,, 8 pm, $17, 21+)
