For the past decade, Visqueen have remained one of Seattles most beloved bands, thanks in large part to their amazing live shows, packed with smashing power pop and the superstar charm of lead singer/guitarist Rachel Flotard. Tonight, Visqueen play their final show, after which the bands members will devote themselves to new projects, one of which will be onstage tonight, just behind Flotards guitar, in its fifth month in utero. Go bid farewell to one of the bands that made Seattles rep as a great music town a fact. With Broadcast Oblivion. (Neptune Theatre, 1303 NE 45th St, www.stgpresents.org, 8 pm, $11 adv/$13 DOS, all ages) by David Schmader
