The Seattle stop of Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s six-city Portlandia tour is sold out harder than in 2001, so this Suggest can only amp up those lucky enough to have tickets while twisting the knife in the guts of those who don’t. Whatever the case, the success of this odd and dreamy IFC comedy series is cause for celebration, and tonight’s show will feature Armisen and Brownstein performing live music, screening clips from Portlandia’s forthcoming second season, and sharing stories of how this whole hilarious thing came to pass.
