Oyster Happy Hours FOOD & DRINK
Oyster Happy Hours

As they are contrary creatures, oysters taste best when the weather is horrible and the days are dark—a bright spot on the half shell in the depths of a Pacific Northwest January. And so many oyster happy hours await! At various times, you can get oysters for 50 cents each at Flying Fish; a buck at Anchovies & Olives, Bastille, Blueacre Seafood, Etta’s, Local 360, Mistral Kitchen, Seatown, and Queen City Grill; $1.25 at the Brooklyn; $1.50 at Frank’s Oyster House; and at tiered special prices at Elliott’s, the Walrus and the Carpenter, and Taylor Shellfish Farms’ new Melrose Market shop (and yes, they have beer and wine). You might have to leave work early—even better. (Details at thestranger.com/chow)

Brooklyn oysters rule.

They are the best around. IMO.
