It’s Seattle’s gayest day of the year (sorry, Adrian Ryan’s birthday), featuring gay-pridey delights from morning till night. At 11 a.m., the Seattle Pride Parade kicks off at Fourth and Union and makes its celebratory way to Seattle Center, home to the food-and-music-drenched PrideFest from noon to 8 p.m. (www.seattlepridefest.org). In the evening, head to Central Cinema for food, drinks, and the two gayest movies ever made: The Wizard of Oz and Top Gun. (Central Cinema, 1411 21st Ave, www.central-cinema.com, Oz 7 pm, Top Gun 9:30 pm, $6 adv/$8 DOS each, all ages) by David Schmader

Still no comments, eh?

While walking about in the grocery store and elsewhere,

And seeing physically beautiful women breaking down into tears because they finally realize they killed the love of their lives and will die alone in poverty-stricken misery,

While two men with 100 pounds on me apiece are unable to look me in the eye for what they did earlier,

I simply wonder how the Scum Parade went.

Ya know what? This event is one of Seattle's greatest. Lots of good viewing points, max participation (almost 4 hours) and minimal security issues. I HEART Pride day. May every day be as positive, well organized, and publicly presented as Seattle Gay Pride Parade.
