Savage Love Marriage Equality Burger

The slogan of Seattle mini-chain Blue Moon Burgers—“Helping People Feel Good About Making Bad Choices”—is now more apt than ever. Apparently our own dear Dan Savage often enjoys a bacon Swiss burger there, and the good people of BMB have made that their August Burger of the Month, calling it the Savage Love Burger and donating 25 percent of the proceeds to Washington United for Marriage to support Referendum 74. Vegetarian donations may be made at www.washingtonunitedformarriage.org. (Blue Moon Burgers, three Seattle locations, www.bluemoonburgers.com, $10.74)

But not their right to live a life free of exploitation, confinement, and murder by humans?

Sorry... my bad for stepping on your joke about disregarding the existential rights of our fellow sentient beings.

When cows can stand up and demand their rights, I'll be more than happy to grant them.

Looks tastey. I'd have one of them whether it benefited a political cause or not.

@6:

Um... what?

So, it's OK to disregard the rights of cows... and, oh yah, the very elderly, children, the mentally challenged, and other groups who can't "stand up and demand their rights"?

@10: You're making me really hungry for one of those burgers right now, to be completely honest.

That burger looks disgusting, but do you know what would be really tasty right now? Veal cooked in a mushroom and red wine sauce... it is the Baby Calf tears that make the meat really juicy and tender.
