Stranger Voting Party

Why: Ever since Washington State switched to an all-mail election, voting has lost some of its thrill. Voting is lonely now. And, uh, come to think of it, those old polling stations could have used a bar. But would voting with friends in a bar even be legal? We asked the state and, well, they said yes. So bring your ballot to a bar, mingle with a bunch of politicians, and vote. Guests include Jay Inslee, Jim McDermott, Ed Murray, Mike McGinn, Sally Bagshaw, Dan Savage, and lots more. (Q, 1426 Broadway, www.qcapitolhill.com, 7–10 pm, free, 21+)
