For approximately 100 years, the Brown Derby series has staged quick ’n’ dirty bar-theater satires of iconic movie scripts that are some of the most fun you can have in a bar (or a theater). For Halloween, they’re clawing up A Nightmare on Elm Street, with punk-drag artiste Jackie Hell as Freddy Krueger, Freddy “King of Pants” Molitch as the bedeviled Nancy Thompson, the inimitable Ian Bell as the narrator, and many others.
