Cafe Nordo revives its original 2009 meta-dinner-theater production: a five-course tragicomedy about the life and death of a chicken, from egg to chick to bloody mess to your plate. While the conceit of the (fake) mercurial chef Nordo Lefesczki was heavy-handed, the food of TMAC was some of Cafe Nordo’s best, and the acting has improved with time. New with this remount: Vegetarians will be accommodated (the Nordoians will “toast your discipline while we lick chicken grease off our fingers”). (Washington Hall, 153 14th Ave, cafenordo.com, $65–$90, Oct 11–Nov 24)
