Every month, pastry-making maniac Rachael Coyle hosts a pop-up bakeshop at Book Larder in Fremont. Her mouthwatering display of cakes, tarts, marshmallows, and croissants are made with expertise she gained while working at Cafe Presse, Le Pichet, and the Herbfarm—and this is her last bakeshop for at least a few months, so don’t miss out! Allow yourself some time to peruse hundreds of gorgeous cookbooks, including Lily Vanilli’s Sweet Tooth (the edges of the pages are bright pink!) and Christina Tosi’s Momofuku Milk Bar.
