If you're venturing into the marvel of capitalism that is Seattle's retail core to return that ugly sweater Santa brought, here's a thought: Instead of exchanging it for some other something for yourself, get a toy or child's garment and drop it off at Dragonfish. They're collecting these through the end of the month for the very worthy nonprofit Treehouse, which helps the nearly 10,000 kids in foster care in our state to thrive instead of just survive, all year long. It's never too late to be an elf! (Dragonfish Asian Cafe, 722 Pine St, dragonfishcafe.com, 7 am-2 am, through Dec 31)
