It’s always rewarding when a writer you know and love shares the stage with a couple of other authors, because it creates an opportunity to discover new favorites. The known quantity here is Stranger Genius of literature Matt Briggs, who will read from Virility Rituals of North American Teenage Boys, a short-story collection about elephantiasis of the testicles and the rejects of macho culture. Briggs is joined by Trevor Dodge, who will read from his new collection of micro-fiction, and Sarah Lippek, whose Complicity opens on a girl rummaging through an unconscious soldier’s shirt in search of a nipple.
