Another block party on Capitol Hill! Already? That’s right, only this one is free and intimate—more like an actual block party! Except that you won’t have to make awkward conversation with your idiot neighbor. The party shall be packed with bands like the Pharmacy (whose new album, Spells, sounds like mellow magic mushrooms and incense), Ecstatic Cosmic Union (trippy space psych), and Great Spiders (lazy weirdo blues); raffles and hot prizes from local sponsors like Actual Pain, Vera Project, and Valentine’s Tattoo Co.; and summer food like hot dogs, roasted veggies, and OTTER POPS! Need I say more? (Summit Ave between Olive & Howell Streets,, 11 am–9:30 pm, free, all ages)
