I still have an art collection filed away somewhere: pen drawings of pretty, long-haired women walking through moonlit cemeteries; No. 2 pencil portraits of neo-Nazis, witches, clowns, and Jesus; Sharpie-markered tribal lizards and snakes. It's easy to acquire this collection when your boyfriend goes to prison. None of this art has ever been on display—this art is about PROCESS, not PRODUCT. It's pure art. Non-Sufficient Funds features work by 12 artists in the Monroe Correctional Complex. The show is meant to shed light on how education and art behind bars can ultimately benefit everyone. It's a fundraiser and a good cause. (Vermillion, 1508 11th Ave, 709-9797, 5–9 pm)
