There's been a lot of talk recently about controversial incidents involving Seattle cops. But there's little actual dialogue among officers, civilians, and officials empowered to make policy changes. Tonight, The Stranger and the mayor's office bring the players together to hash out what Seattle can do now. Panelists include Police Chief John Diaz, Mayor Mike McGinn, ACLU of Washington deputy director Jennifer Shaw, Seattle Police Officers' Guild president Richard O'Neill, and Nicole Gaines, president of the Loren Miller Bar Association (the local chapter of the largest national organization of African American attorneys).
