Okay, nothing can top a party at a closing-down peep show in terms of sheer "adultness," but I'll be dad-gummed if Theater Schmeater doesn't give it a shot in this staging of 10 short, hilarious little plays by Shel Silverstein. A terrorist cell tries the inventor of the smiley face for crimes against humanity, a father plays mind games with his daughter because it's her birthday and he's drunk, a wife convinces her husband to hypothetically murder his own mother. It's a perfectly devilish night of dark comedy and the second-most-fun adult event you'll attend this week. (Theater Schmeater, 1500 Summit Ave, 324-5801. 8 pm, $18.) by Paul Constant
