Partman Parthorse's new mini-album, Emerald City Dummies, takes the snide, sneering band's inside jokes to new depths of insularity. "GGNZLA Crew" is a shout-out to their new labelmates, while "Emerald City Dollar Bin" trash-talks Seattle bands and names names. Like marginalia in a high-school yearbook, this stuff—minus the Lil Wayne and Germs covers—might only be funny if you're part of the graduating class. Thankfully, their spiky, grooving punk rock and all-but-literally balls-out live show require no initiation. (Funhouse, 206 Fifth Ave N, 374-8400. 9:30 pm, $6, 21+.)
