Everything about RoboGeisha is over-the-top—giant robots, acidic breast milk fired from lactating murderesses, and an army of sexy killers with blades popping out of every (and I mean every) body part imaginable. This is totally fun.

Well, except for two scenes that were a tad excessive.

I saw this at Midnight Adrenaline a couple weeks back. I went in hoping for some crazy mindblowing Asian wackiness in the vein of Dasapo Naughty Girls (shown at 2008's SIFF, I think) or Aachi and Ssipak (also SIFF 2008), and I got something more SNL and less Takashi Miike.

It felt like a Westernized take on Japanese craziness refiltered through the Japanese eye, which make it so much less wacky.

But, it had some priceless moments...unfortunately they were far between for me.
