'Snaps' PHOTOGRAPHY
'Snaps'

Seattle has a crazy amount of young, new hiphop—think Mad Rad, They Live!, Champagne Champagne, Fresh Espresso, Macklemore. Seattle also has a tireless talent of a photographer named Tyler Soverns who's been documenting it all. Probably best known for his live shots under the moniker Rabid Child, Soverns switched it up for Snaps, pulling the musicians off the stage and into his studio. Opening night will feature Soverns's portraits and a live performance by Murder Dice, and, well, it'll be the place to be seen. (Greenwood Collective, 8537 Greenwood Ave N, Suite 1, 420-1497. 6–9 pm, free.)
