Ian Bell's Brown Derby series has been fucking up movie scripts for your delectation and edification—if you consider clever lewdness edifying—for a thousand years. Sometimes it hits, sometimes it misses, but its recent performance of E.T. was so full of guilty laughs, it was like being stoned and sitting next to Bill Hicks at your grandma's funeral. Nick Garrison will grace the stage, and the barely controlled barroom chaos of Brown Derby gives him the breathing room to be as funny as he wants to be. The drinks are strong and the comedy is wicked. (Re-bar, 1114 Howell St, 233-9873. 8 pm, $15, 21+.)
