Marcela's Cookery—in an old Pioneer Square building with soaring ceilings and exposed brick—is home to a remarkable mural, a depiction of life in New Orleans that's festive in the extreme. It's also home to Marcela's husband, Anthony, a New Orleans native who's hospitable in the extreme and runs the place like one Big Easy party. Now he's doing Sunday crawfish boils ($8.50 a pound), with the crawfish flown in fresh from the Belle and Atchafalaya rivers and boiled alive. (I'd pay $8.50 just to hear Anthony say "Atchafalaya.") Also: hurricanes (the beverage). (Marcela's Cookery, 106 James St, 223-0042. Sundays at noon and 2:30 pm.)
