U.S.E MUSIC
U.S.E

The revamped Crocodile has been open for over a week, but tonight may as well be its official grand reopening party. You couldn't hope for a Seattle band to christen your new club with more positive vibes and body-moving sounds than electro-rock crew United State of Electronica. The band has a new album in the works, and an early sneak peak reveals it to be (duh) another happy helping of big, blissed-out, vocoder-led dance jams. With Velella Velella. (Crocodile, 2200 Second Ave, www.thecrocodile.com. 8 pm, $12, 21+.)

I've had a grudge against U.S.E. since they showed up instead of Broken Social Scene one night at the old Graceland. OK, not really their fault, but they sound like a christian dance band, so no kudos from me.

this show was....BORING, and full of post-hipster non-bathers.

goldenrock: Yeah really, it felt like testosterone overload. And what was up with not playing "It is on" last?

@5 and 6, wow you guys have no clue what good dance music is. I had a great time, and there were lots of amazing songs from the band that originated dance rock!

Why the hate, Seattle? Are you allergic to happy?
I loved the show. And, if you are a hater you should spend 1 minute of your life w/ this band on a personal level and I bet you'll become a fan. They tell it like it is.

i got into the show and must say the live show of theirs is quite intense. if you arent the type of person who likes extra sugar with your cookie crisp cereal then you are going to hate it.

I danced my butt off and had a good time, but I can see why people would hate this type of music, especially if they like Insane Clown Posse or Slipknot.
