The Stranger

(IMMODERATE BLUSHING) On one night of the year, The Stranger has nothing but good things to say. That night is tonight, at our annual Genius Awards bash, when we celebrate the best of the best in Seattle arts. Winners will blush while we sing their praises. We will blush as we sing them. And you will blush because you've been drinking. Come and celebrate filmmaker James Longley, author Jonathan Raban, visual artists Lead Pencil Studio, set designer Jennifer Zeyl, and a little theater called On the Boards. And prepare to dance—to music by DJ Fucking in the Streets, Har Mar Superstar, and Aqueduct.
