Such is the fate of Diplo, who's rocketed to underground-ish stardom through his deck work with Anglo-Sri Lankan pop star M.I.A. and via his keen crate-digging and mixing skills. Cat does his research, spends time in the lab, and emerges with sets that have lots of wonderfully strange and cheekily familiar flavors, many surprisingly juxtaposed and blended, and all guaranteed to get you lifted.
