(MUSIC) I'm late in falling under the celestial spells cast by renowned jazz trombonist Julian Priester. I wish I could wax prolific about his years working with everyone from Herbie Hancock (during his Headhunters era) to Sun Ra and Max Roach; he's dabbled in everything from hard bop to avant-jazz and fusion. Instead I'll highly recommend buying a copy of his gorgeous, free-flowing 1974 opus Love, Love and attending tonight's performances of talented Cornish jazz faculty, including Chuck Deardorf, Jovino Santos Neto, and Dawn Clement, among others.
