'Capote'

(FILM) Even though he doesn't look it (or weigh it), Philip Seymour Hoffman is Truman Capote, circa the composition of Capote's gory nonfiction novel In Cold Blood. The camera plays low-key observer to Hoffman's smart, fey, monstrously driven writer—a portrayal that, like a religious icon, inspires both unspeakable horror and indescribable awe.
