(MUSIC) High on Fire and Lamb of God are headlining the touring DIY metal fest Sounds of the Underground. In my mind, High on Fire are at the top of their genre—straight, no chaser, with lean, mean guitar riffs anchored to an obese rhythm section. Lamb of God are equally economical with dynamics, showing their prowess through a mix of gnarled vocals and agile blast beats. (Qwest Field Event Center, 800 Occidental St S, 381-8057. $29.50, noon.)
