(MUSIC) I'm not gonna beat around the bush on this one: I fucking love Diamond Nights. This New York band is a pop-centric rocker's dream—a little Thin Lizzy, a little vintage Billy Idol, a lot of libidinous lyrics, falsetto harmonies, and deep sighs. Plus, they're amazing live, so tonight at the Crocodile, let's all just pretend like it's Saturday night all over again—especially because you need to keep things going from KEXP's annual Parking Lot BBQ earlier this afternoon. The local indie radio station hosts U.S.E, Crooked Fingers, Smoosh, and, um, a big-buzz band that we can't say but they're played a lot on KEXP and live they're like a pep rally incarnate.
