Brunch at Cafe Lago FOOD & DRINK
Brunch at Cafe Lago

Cafe Lago in Montlake has been making handmade pastas, thin-crust wood-fired pizza, and all that for more than 20 years (which makes a lot of places look a little late to the artisanal-Italian party). Now there’s weekend brunch made in the wood-fired oven: frittata with organic eggs, sausage, arugula, roasted red peppers, onion, smoked mozzarella, and Parmigiano, $8; breakfast pizzas like bacon rosemary and peach goat cheese, $11; three “small and delicious” cinnamon rolls, $6, created by and named after Daisy the line cook. Wood. Fired. Cinnamon. Rolls. (Cafe Lago, 2305 24th Ave E, 329-8005, 9 am–2 pm)
