Some, I know, can't get past the smugness or the smarm...but for those of us who can tolerate a little of each, there's a wealth of yummy smart comedy goodness in every Proops performance.
I will be there on Friday night! Very excited to see Mr. Proops, despite the Bellevue "atmosphere". And Lindy, you simply MUST listen to Comedy-Death Ray podcast #47, Comedy And Everything Else #98, and Marc Maron's WTF #63, to further catch up on Proops' goodness.
He was one of my favourites on Whose Line. Tony was hilarious and the best in my opinion. Colin and Ryan weren't that funny back then. But then, they came up with the newest version and Colin/Ryan got much better....with the exception of using the same jokes on different shows numerous times.
I <3 Greg Proops!
Now....if only Greg & Scott Thompson could join forces....
