I'll stick with tequila, thanks. Mexcal tastings were all the rage in Mexico City a couple of years ago. Frankly, it tastes like everclear run through a barbecue to me. Pulque is the current big thing in DF, but it has a shelf-life of 3 to 4 days max. it also has the consistency of an oatmeal/metamucil smoothie.
