This Friday, April 22, is Earth Day, and we've rounded up all of the ways to celebrate on our Earth Day calendar. There are over 30 events on our calendar for this week and through the rest of the month, many of which are ways to help clean up and appreciate the earth, like restoring the Washington Park Arboretum and National Park Week. But, if going outside and getting dirty isn't in the cards for you this weekend (to say nothing of staying inside and getting dirty at Babeland's Earth Day giveaway), we've compiled the best, simplest Earth Day events in Seattle here—from Earth Day yoga to a movie night at Peddler Brewing Company's outdoor beer garden.

APRIL 20
1. Wild and Scenic Film Festival
Enjoy multiple film sessions, happy hour, and a drawing activity at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival, featuring environmental and adventure films, and benefiting the Washington Water Trust. Admission also includes a Klean Kanteen pint cup, one drink, happy hour food, and an annual WWT subscription.

APRIL 21
2. Pints for a Purpose
Pints for a Purpose with Net Impact Seattle and Ballard Beer Company offers a chance to drink beer for a good cause. $1 from every pint will go towards Mountains to Sound Greenway, a nonprofit working to preserve old-growth forests.

APRIL 22
3. Earth Day Block Party
The Seattle Collaborative and Environmental Works present this Earth Day Block Party on Capitol Hill, promising food trucks, kids' games, an e-waste recycling drive, speakers, and more.

4. Earth Day Movie Night and Brewshed Happy Hour
In honor of Earth Day, Peddler Brewing Company will screen Return of the River, a documentary about the removal of the Elwha Dam on the Olympic Peninsula, in its covered beer garden. The program (which includes an introduction by American Whitewater's Thomas O'Keefe) starts at 7:30, but come early for Peddler beer and food from the Napkin Friends food truck—$1 per pint and per sandwich will be donated to Washington Wild—plus drawings and other surprises.

5. Earth Day Plant Giveaway
Gerald Elliott, a robotics and history teacher at Seattle Academy, will talk about his avid gardening experience and will give away plant starts and snacks. There are also rumors of giveaways of homemade canned peaches, applesauce, and jam, plus some tips on preserving your own fruit.

6. Earth Day Solar Vibe Giveaway
Sex toys might not be your first thought associated with "Earth Day," but today, Babeland is highlighting their impressive sustainable options. They'll give away free Solar Bullet vibrators (which charge with sunlight!) to the first 25 customers at this free mini-workshop.

7. Earthwise 25th Anniversary
Seattle's longest running salvage company hosts a sale and celebration in honor of Earth Day (the 25th Anniversary of Earthwise). Stop by on Earth Day, and if you're one of the first 50 customers you'll get a free gift—otherwise, as a consolation prize, nosh on their provided snacks and buy goods at 10-50% off. And on Friday, don't forget to swing by their Earth Day BBQ!

8. Pacific Science Center Earth Day Celebration
Learn more about our world at Pacific Science Center this Earth Day (and Earth Weekend) with lectures and exhibits focusing on animal life, plant pollination, geology, astronomy, and more.

9. Stay Wild Magazine Release Party and Earth Day Celebration
Stay Wild, a free quarterly magazine devoted to adventure, is releasing its summer issue at this Earth Day-themed launch party. There will be special outdoor-centric merchandise (every purchase of which will result in the planting of a tree with the National Forest Foundation), plus drinks from Dr. Kombucha and New Belgium.

10. Yo Yo Yoga: Earth Day Flow
Yo Yo Yoga is back and better than ever, with an Earth Day special event at the Monkey Loft. Join instructor Audrey Dohm for a 90 minute yoga flow with a live DJ set by Recess. This evening's theme is "Regeneration," so get ready to emerge from your wintertime hibernation and stretch out into the new season's sunshine.
