Over the course of four days at the end of October, KeyArena was transformed into the Seattle/King County Free Health Clinic that served 4,492 patients in need of dental and vision care, flu shots, mammograms—you name it. Even free shoes. This was the third year in a row Seattle Center has done this, and this year for the first time, a crew of storied comics artists donated their time to interview actual patients and draw their stories. This is the first time these comics are being published, just in time to feel serious gratitude to Seattle Center Foundation and everyone who helps make this happen every year. recommended
