Andrew Wyeth Is, Pervertedly (Not Prettily), Just Like Us

This piece of writing is amazingly stupid. It's brimming with bad humor directed at the elderly and boasts a fairly wishy-washy viewpoint as well. I'm really surprised that it made it past the editor. Really teenage.
2
Wyeth is so (Michael) Jacksonesque, in so many, many ways.
3
This is really interesting. I always got a creepy feeling from Wyeth's paintings, but couldn't pinpoint why exactly. That creepy/beauty makes them worthwhile.

Where is Jen? Please have Lindy refrain from writing about things that she has no clue about.
5
spooky, sure.

but wtf is it with your complete terror of the elderly? Jeezuz. I can imagine the eyerolling if this paper published an article going on and on about the spotty youth the author encountered at some event or maybe all those goddamn women. Get over the fear.
6
Thats a rough bit of writing about a great exhibit. Those paintings deserve better than what this review dishes up.
7
I'm pleasantly refreshed now, reading this art review that is totally not pretentious and over everyone's head.

Drugs ... and fatigue ... are the terrifying under belly of this writing.

Said painter is a genius, an American treasure and likes pussy. Seem we all agree.

I am 107 years old, and like pussy too. I pick them up at art events.... young ones, standing there panting in awe and mental turmoil. German is OK, most anything is OK.

Andrew would snicker if he knew, during a coffee break mid his feverish working day.

Glad this too young lady writer got to the point, yes Andrew is a damn good painter. Whew, got it out.

9
ugh, snarky pottymouth, please die.
10
You're not giving Wyeth and the biddies the respect they deserve. You could have made your point without all the crap, and maybe I'd have taken you seriously. You can criticize the SAM, but at least do it intelligently.
11
wow. you people iz crazy.

great piece lindy.
12
astounding exhibit, immature review. art criticism masquerading as gossip; is this what it takes to get the kids into galleries these days? the last five words were all that was necessary to print.

Please wait...
